COVID-19 Safety Considerations:
Class size will be limited so we can ensure safe physical distancing in the space.
Students must bring their own mat and can bring their own yoga props (belts and blocks) if they have them. (We will give modifications for those who do not have props, but will not be supplying any at this time)
As of March 15th, 2022 students will no longer be required to wear masks, however, are encouraged to do so if they feel comfortable.
No hands on or close physical adjustments will be provided.
If you are sick or are recovering from an illness, even if you have tested negative for COVID 19, please refrain from coming to class.
Please Note: Students must adhere to any additional safety precautions Winakwa Community Centre is required to follow as they arise - this may include sharing of name and contact info with the community centre so they have records of people moving in and out of the space, or wearing masks when moving through common areas where distancing is not possible.
Beginner
This class is perfect for anyone who has never tried Yoga before, who has just started practicing, or anyone who needs a bit of a "refresher" after not practicing for awhile. Demonstration of poses and verbal cues will allow you to learn how to safely move in and out of the Yoga poses. Yoga props and modifications are also offered to ensure everyone can access poses at their own level. Pre-Registration is required.

Beginner Level 2
The next step in your Yoga Journey!! Beginner Level 2 is for those who have already completed the Your Best Yoga Beginner Class OR already have some experience with a Yoga practice. This class follows the same format as Beginner (so a new Yogi will not be totally lost), but the poses introduced may be a bit more challenging.

All Levels Flow Style Yoga
This class is great for those newer to Yoga, as well as students who are looking for a change of pace in their Yoga practice. We will practice fundamental Yoga poses, Flow style, moving with our breath and focusing our attention. This style of Yoga allows each participant to practice at their own level - props and modifications will be offered for proper alignment and ease in the postures, and students always have the option to take their flow to the next level, challenging their strength and flexibility in whatever way feels best for them. (Note: if you are brand new to Yoga - Don't worry! We will be breaking down poses, learning proper Yoga breath, and reviewing important alignment cues. It is recommended that Beginners register for the entire session)
